Storify: The Office
I found the idea of the fans trying to change the show/appeal to the producers really interesting. The community I’m analyzing revolves around the show the “Big Bang Theory” and many of the fans have acted in similar ways toward their show. They comment on what they think the producer should change, post various episode ideas that they think would be better, as well as share their ideas on how to return it to its old science premise, which many fans think is fading. It’s interesting how things like social media can allow someone like a television show fan to communicate with producers and possibly have a say in the show, if the producers do indeed look at what the fans want.
